Masters Of The World Meet To Play God With The Climate

 

On a secluded estate in England, a small group from the elite UK think-tank, The Royal Society, are openly discussing control over the planet's weather.  The Orwellian nature of the discussion is stunning, as this select group seemingly wrings their hands over how to delegate the proper authority to research such godlike power.  They begin by asking a rhetorical question, "Who decides?"

In a candid AP story, the entire agenda is laid bare as we are treated to a session that is "generally off the record."  This is the grand rollout to be sure: from research to implementation, they announce much of what is already provably in the works, as well as the road toward a future of unthinkable control by an inner circle of ideologues with the task to "save the planet." 

History is full of these great "experts" who have taken on the burden of saving the rest of us.  Elites throughout the ages have insisted that the common man or woman is simply not up to the task . . . if left to our own devices, we might just destroy the place.

In Australia we have our own "great experts", the Australian Labor Party, a collective of idiots who cannot see their own demise coming! The Australian people have begun to realise that something else is going on here.


Labor has been told by the people that we don't want a carbon tax because it will do nothing to stop global warming because global warming has been proven to be a fraud. That is why the fraud was renamed "Climate Change".

Most alarming about this semi-clandestine meeting is that the very premise upon which they base this need for global orchestration -- Global Warming -- has been thoroughly debunked by any climatologist not beholden to a government sponsored think tank or agency.  

Their famously cited Plan B for inevitable climate change is nothing more than a wish list for those who wish to de-industrialize productive nations and consolidate control through wealth redistribution.  Not a good way to start saving people. 

The UN “Disappears” 50 Million Climate Refugees, Then Botches the Disappearing Attempt!

In 2005, the United Nations Environment Programme predicted that climate change would create 50 million climate refugees by 2010. These people, it was said, would flee a range of disasters including sea level rise, increases in the numbers and severity of hurricanes, and disruption to food production.

The UNEP even provided a handy map. The map shows us the places most at risk including the very sensitive low lying islands of the Pacific and Caribbean.

It so happens that just a few of these islands and other places most at risk have since had censuses, so it should be possible for us now to get some idea of the devastating impact climate change is having on their populations. Let’s have a look at the evidence:

Hoo boy, government bureaucratic idiocy at its finest. Not only is the original claim bogus, the attempts to disappear it are hilariously inept. Apparently, they’ve never heard of Google Cache at the UN. Rather than simply say “we were wrong”, they’ve now brought even more distrust onto the UN.

Let’s have a look at the evidence on regions the UN claimed would be decimated by sea level increases and thereby cause the 50 million "Climate Refugees":

Bahamas:

Nassau, The Bahamas – The 2010 national statistics recorded that the population growth increased to 353,658 persons in The Bahamas.  The population change figure increased by 50,047 persons during the last 10 years.

St Lucia:

The island-nation of Saint Lucia recorded an overall household population increase of 5 percent from May 2001 to May 2010 based on estimates derived from a complete enumeration of the population of Saint Lucia during the conduct of the recently completed 2010 Population and Housing Census.

Seychelles:

Population 2002, 81755
Population 2010, 88311

Solomon Islands:

The latest Solomon Islands population has surpassed half a million – that’s according to the latest census results.
It’s been a decade since the last census report, and in that time the population has leaped 100,000.

After Asian Correspondent posted the story on April 11th, it was picked up by news outlets around the world such as Investor News, American Spectator and was cited in the Australian newspaper. It was also a report on Fox News.

Fear not dear readers, because as astoundingly smart as those UN people think they are, they forgot one very important yet tiny detail. In the US the share of the population that is working fell to its lowest level last year since women started entering the workforce in large numbers three decades ago, a USA TODAY analysis finds.

Only 45.4% of Americans had jobs in 2010, the lowest rate since 1983 and down from a peak of 49.3% in 2000. Last year, just 66.8% of men had jobs, the lowest on record.

The bad economy, an aging population and a plateau in women working are contributing to changes that pose serious challenges for financing the nation's social programs.

"What's wrong with the economy may be speeding up trends that are already happening," says Marc Goldwein, policy director of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a non-partisan group favoring smaller deficits.

For example, job troubles appear to have slowed a trend of people working later in life, putting more pressure on Social Security, he says.

Another change: the bulk of those not working has shifted from children to adults.

In 2000, the nation had roughly the same number of children and non-working adults. Since then, the population of non-working adults has grown 27 million while the nation added just 3 million children under 18.

National Debt.

Around 21 million people have to pay back $187.3 billion dollars!

Is there any way we can get the penny to drop on why this is not healthy for the Australian people? 

Something smells. Ken Henry has left, Julia Gillard is panicking, and our gross debt is tearing through the roof.

Seeing as Mr Swan always talks about net debt, maybe he would like to find some of these funds he used in netting off this $187.3 billion and use it now to pay off some of the debt. 

I will tell you there are two things he won’t be able to tell us, where the money is and secondly, if he did know where it was, he would be terrified of what would happen if he actually used it to pay off the debt. For example, the largest section of the money used in the netting process is for public servants’ superannuation.

We have found ourselves in this position because we have got a government that spent like a person who should have been swabbed. We will look back in history and cringe as to how on earth we got ourselves into such strife. 

$2.5 billion on ceiling insulation, $16.8 billion on school halls and random $900 cheques, for who only knows what purpose, followed by an moronic idea to cool the planet from a building in Canberra by taxing Australians.  

We've got to asks this Government where do these maniac ideas come from, and how on earth are you going to repay this debt?

There is never a mention on mainstream TV of this massive debt.

The Federal Government is poised to pledge millions of dollars in sweeteners for Australian households who are facing the possibility of higher bills under the proposed carbon tax.

Climate Change Minister Greg Combet will use a speech at the National Press Club later today to release key details of the proposed compensation for households under the scheme.

He says pensioners and the low-paid will be the priority for compensation and says most families will actually be better off under the plan.

The Government has maintained all revenue from the scheme will be used to compensate households and sensitive industries, and support energy efficiency and new technologies.

“What we’re making clear today is that more than 50 per cent of the carbon price revenue will be used to assist households and that we expect that millions of households will be better off under the carbon price arrangements,” Mr Combet told ABC’s AM.

“Obviously as a Labor Government, we’re concerned to help low and middle income households as much as we can.”

WTF!!! How will that work Combet?

Irish Gun Owners Can Now Shoot Intruders.

As we get news through that England is now officially the most violent country in the European Union the Irish Government has passed a new home defence bill.

Irish homeowners can now legally use guns to defend themselves if their homes are attacked under new legislation. The new home defense bill has moved the balance of rights back to the house owner if his home is broken into "where it should always have been", say top Irish police.

The police association of superintendents and inspectors, the AGSI, stated that “the current situation, which legally demands a house owner retreat from an intruder, was intolerable".

The new bill was published by Justice Minister Dermot Ahern yesterday. Under the bill homeowners will be allowed to use "reasonable" force against intruders to defend themselves, others or their property. This includes lethal force, depending on the circumstances.

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern stated that house owners could use guns in self-defense, especially if the intruders were armed but said it would ultimately be a matter for the courts to resolve.

The bill also clarifies that a house owner will not be required to retreat from an intruder, and that intruders injured as a result of reasonable force won’t be able to sue the house owner.

I can just see the Green looney left choking on their lattes over this one!

It's good to see that the basic right to defend one's life, family, and property has been restored to the Irish People. 

 

Some sections of the Australian Looney Left believe that criminals and other assorted social degenerates have the "human right" to break into your home, destroy your property, rape your wife and murder your family unhindered by any means of self defense on the part of the law abiding citizen.

 

I wonder will any politician in the major parties have the cajones to put up a similar bill in Australia?

Official: Wind Farms Are Totally Useless!

Here is an article from James Delingpole writing in The Telegraph in Britain.

I cannot resist drawing your attention to a new report on wind farms - perhaps the most damning I have ever read.

What makes it even more significant is that it has been sponsored by an environmental charity. Normally the people most busily pushing these bird-chomping, bat-crunching, taxpayer-fleecing monstrosities on our magnificent landscape are those who claim, ludicrously, to be “green.”

Thank you, John Muir Trust, for reminding as that being “green” doesn’t necessarily have to include economically suicidal schemes to destroy perhaps our greatest national asset: the British countryside.

Here’s its summary:

PRINCIPAL FINDINGS in respect of analysis of electricity generation from all the U.K. windfarms which are metered by National Grid, November 2008 to December 2010. The following five statements are common assertions made by both the wind industry and Government representatives and agencies. This Report examines those assertions.
“Wind turbines will generate on average 30% of their rated capacity over a year.”
“The wind is always blowing somewhere.”
“Periods of widespread low wind are infrequent.”
“The probability of very low wind output coinciding with peak electricity demand is slight.”
“Pumped storage hydro can fill the generation gap during prolonged low wind periods.”
This analysis uses publicly available data for a 26 month period between November 2008 and December 2010 and the facts in respect of the above assertions are:
Average output from wind was 27.18% of metered capacity in 2009, 21.14% in 2010, and 24.08% between November 2008 and December 2010 inclusive.
There were 124 separate occasions from November 2008 till December 2010 when total generation from the windfarms metered by National Grid was less than 20MW. (Average capacity over the period was in excess of 1600MW).
The average frequency and duration of a low wind event of 20MW or less between November 2008 and December 2010 was once every 6.38 days for a period of 4.93 hours.
At each of the four highest peak demands of 2010 wind output was low being respectively 4.72%, 5.51%, 2.59% and 2.51% of capacity at peak demand.
The entire pumped storage hydro capacity in the UK can provide up to 2788MW for only 5 hours then it drops to 1060MW, and finally runs out of water after 22 hours.

US Government Votes to Curb Climate Regulation

 

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The US House of Representatives on Thursday approved a bill aimed at preventing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from regulating greenhouse gases blamed for global warming.

The 255-172 vote in the Republican-held chamber came a day after the Democratic-led Senate rejected such a move, making it highly unlikely lawmakers will actually move to curb EPA's regulatory powers.

US President Barack Obama has already signaled he opposes such a step, but Republicans have said EPA's moves to limit such emissions could dampen job creation as the economy drags itself out of the worst downturn in 80 years.

Republicans have also sought to tie the measure to a sharp rise in gasoline prices, saying new restrictions would drive energy costs sharply higher.

The US House of Representatives approved a cap-and-trade bill to fight climate change in 2009, but the Senate never approved such a measure.

With no regard to what is happening worldwide with the Climate Fraud cat truly out of the bag, the Greens/Labor Government in Australia continue to push Australians further into poverty with their insane plans for a carbon tax. 

All this despite the fact that their own chosen waffler, Tim Flannery, says it will take hundreds of years, perhaps a thousand years, for the tax to make any difference at all to carbon dioxide levels.

I wonder why a Labor Party Government, that sees itself as a government for the people, would want to drive the peoples standard of living down?

There has to be another reason and they (The Greens and Labor) don't want the Australian people to know what that agenda is.
