"Climate Change Will Kill Australians!" And So Says ABC With No Proof.

 

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation or as I know them when it comes to climate change and the truth  "The Australian Broadcorping Castration" are at it again with their headlong mad rush after the Brown/Gillard socialist express.

I have seriously raided Australian Climate Madness to hapilly show you how the ABC applies "lipstick to the pig"!

"...Let's scare people by saying they will die if we don't "tackle climate change"… with a pointless carbon tax that will reduce global temperatures by seven ten thousandths of a degree. The ABC, or Groupthink Central it it should be known, shamelessly and uncritically regurgitates an AAP/AFP article plugging a biased and one-sided report from the Climate Commission on the effects of climate change and health:

A new report is warning more Australians face dying in heatwaves and catching infectious diseases as a result of climate change.
A Climate Commission report out today, titled The Critical Decade, says climate change-related injury, disease and deaths will continue to grow in decades to come unless sustained action is taken.
The Climate Commission report says climbing temperatures will lead to more natural disasters and changing rainfall patterns, which will have an impact on people's health as much as on the environment.
It includes a worst-case scenario where deaths from hotter temperatures in Queensland and the Northern Territory could multiply tenfold by 2100.

Alarmist tactic number 94, throw in a worst-case scenario and lo and behold, the news agency pick up on it! Brilliant.

Report co-author Professor Lesley Hughes says even a small rise in temperature can be detrimental to people's health.
"A small rise in average temperature actually means a fairly large rise in the number of days, for example, over 35 degrees [Celsius] every year," he said.
"So as average temperatures go up, the number of extremely hot days go up in a disproportionate way. So what we're concerned about with climate change, amongst other impacts, is the impact on heat waves." (source)

I seem to recall reading that the Little Ice age was pretty shit for humanity as well. Marc at ABC News Watch has more:

Grand Inquisitor Pittock to weed out the “Climate Heretics”.

Here is a letter written to the Daily Telegraph in Sydney after Dr Barry Pittock from the CSIRO called for Climate Sceptics to be prosecuted.

Hilarious Dr Pittock, I can disbelieve in God but I cannot disbelieve that climate change is caused by humans?

 Here is the letter, the name and address has been deleted so Dr Pittock can't prosecute!

"It was interesting to read what Dr. Barry Pittock, the CSIRO’s high priest  of climate change wishes to have done with sceptics.(“Climate leak not a worry” Telegraph, Fri Nov 22)

 

It is apparent that Science has become the new religion for the 21^st century, complete with Grand Inquisitor Pittock to weed out the “Climate Heretics”.

 

Perhaps we should consider what Huxley had to say of “The New Religion” in a renowned speech given in Berkeley in 1962

 

"We are in process of developing a whole series of techniques which will enable the controlling oligarchy…to get people to love their servitude….There seems to be a general movement in the direction of this kind of…a method of control by which a people can be made to enjoy a state of affairs by which any decent standard they ought not to enjoy."

Huxley’s concerns about the newly available non-terrorist techniques for "inducing people to love their servitude" were echoed by Nobel Prize winner Bertrand Russell, who predicted that as a result of the gradual and ruthless use of technological advances, "a revolt of the plebs would be as unthinkable as an organized insurrection of sheep against the practice of eating mutton."

Clean Energy After a Carbon Tax - What Clean Energy?

Prior to the passage of the carbon tax, the amount of renewable (or as the government likes to describe it 'clean') energy that would be generated by our nation by 2020 was 50 terawatt hours, according to a report for the government by SKM MMA.

 

On Tuesday the Senate passed over 1000 pages worth of law, titled the Clean Energy bills. On the passage of these clean energy bills, the amount of clean energy generated in Australia by 2020 will be 50 terawatt hours.

 

That's right it is exactly the same amount. The clean energy bills will encourage exactly zero additional supply of electricity generation from clean energy sources.

 

So, now not only do you have the pleasure of being poorer, noting that it will have exactly zero affect on the climate, you will also have the pleasure of the clean energy bills producing absolutely no additional clean energy by 2020.

Korean War Veteran Kills Armed Intruder

A Korean war veteran bought a handgun to defend his home after
having been robbed several times, a short time later he again was
confronted by an armed thug in his own home, only this time the old
guy wasn't defenseless.

This story, however, takes place in anti-gun Chicago and the old
man defending his home and family was actually violating the 'law'.

How's that for backwards?
