French Govt Seizes 36 billion Euros of Pension Fund Money to Give to Banks.

Hungary discovered by passing  "pension reform legislation" they could appropriate monies put aside for pensions. They could then use this money for other purposes such as paying back the international banks.  Unfortunately this meant no funds to pay pensioners. Ireland and France were quick to follow.

The move reflects a willingness by governments to use long-term assets to fill short-term deficits, including Ireland’s announcement last week that it would use the country’s €24bn National Pensions  Reserve Fund “to support the exchequer’s funding programme” and Hungary’s bid to claw $15bn of private pension funds back to the state system.
Finally the European people are getting sick of the greedy banks and corrupt politicians and are doing something about it.

The international bankster machine seeking to colonize Western nations through debt is now meeting resistance from Greece, to France, to Ireland, to Italy, to Spain, to Portugal, and to the U.K.

These new protests in Ireland and Italy follow a crippling 2-week strike in France where citizens took over fuel refineries and other vital infrastructure, more strikes in Greece which took over the Acropolis, and a massive student protest in the UK that caused physical damage to government buildings. All of these protests were sparked by governments reducing benefits or increasing fees and taxes on a population that had little to do with the private gambling of banks.

These European protests are intensifying as the international bankers move to collect their "pound of flesh" through austerity and sale of public assets.  As Europeans are becoming acutely aware of the dubious plan to loot them and the anger at their corrupt elected officials for bowing to banks has reached a boiling point.  In all cases the governments are enforcing austerity measures on the people after the private banks over-leveraged themselves to the breaking point, threatening to bring down entire nations.'

I wonder how long Australia can go on before legislation is introduced into parliament to give the government the right to access superannuation funds to pay back our huge debt to the international banksters?

Big Chill Begins In Britain As Snow Arrives Early

Britain faces more snow and temperatures as low as -6C, with forecasters warning of a 10-day wintry blast coming in from the North Sea.

"The earliest widespread snowfall in 17 years has landed in Scotland and the North of England, with up to 6in (15cm) of snow settling. Widespread frost and further snow showers are expected as the cold snap tightens its grip on Friday.

The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings, flagging up icy roads and drifting snow across the North East, East Midlands and east and southwest England, as well of parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. It warned of snowfall reaching up to 10in (25cm) on higher ground by Saturday.

By the end of the week a moderate dusting of snow will be across the country.

Temperatures are not expected to rise much above 2C (36F) by day, remaining lower in the more exposed, rural areas. Sky News weather forecaster Nazaneen Ghaffar says more snow is predicted in the North East while "rain, sleet and hill snow will push in from the West - most of it settling in the South West in the Cornwall area and west of Wales".

Friday is expected to be near freezing, although central parts of Britain should stay dry. Londoners were warned sleet could hit the capital in the early hours of Friday. Motorists are being urged to exercise caution on the roads as temperatures plunge and check weather conditions before setting off."

Yeah, that's gotta be caused by global warming - sorry, climate change! See the full story that the Greens and Labor don't want you to see here.

GOVERNMENT/GREEN COALITION STEALS RECREATIONAL FISHING HAVEN

The Watermelon Party (Green on the outside - pink on the inside) have done over again people who like to fish.

Oh well, we get the politicians we deserve!

Here is a press release from The Shooters and Fishers Party:

"Shooters and Fishers Party MLC, Robert Brown has accused the Labor Government of bowing to Green pressure last night and effectively revoking the Meroo Lake recreational fishing haven on the south coast.
"I moved in the House to retain Meroo Lake as it is, but the Labor Party and the Greens voted against it.
"Recreational fishers have once again been done over by the Government and the Greens. They should expect more of the same if the Greens get the balance of power in March.

"Meroo Lake recreational fishing haven was one of dozens set up more than a decade ago and was funded by recreational fishing licence fees.

"What the Government and the Greens have now done is to put a gate on access to the Lake, to block the easy access which has been enjoyed for years. The intention is to make it difficult for people to pick up a key in Ulladulla before going to the lake, in the hope they will give up and go elsewhere.
"Meroo Lake has been protected with a great deal of enthusiasm by local fishing clubs and the fishers who go there. They are proud of the recreational fishing haven and resent being alienated from more and more waterways.

"The Government/Green deal to swap 85 hectares of the bed of the Lake for 6 hectares of a caravan park will alienate all recreational fishers in New South Wales.
"This Government has totally lost touch with the general public and particularly the fishing community and deserves to be punished at the March election. This steal back is a declaration of war on fishers" Mr Brown said."

Ireland Unveils Harshest Tax Hikes in History!

When the government of a country continues to borrow money at an appalling rate like Ireland did and as Australia is currently doing, something has to happen!

The population of the Republic of Ireland is less than 4.5 million.

The size of the bail-out of the country is estimated at 85 billion euros, and then some, plus the 50 billion already spent to bail-out the Irish banks, which makes a total of something like 135 billion euros.

So to rescue the deeply corrupt Irish banks, the government is negotiating a 'saviour package' of nearly 20 million euros for every Irish citizen - more like 30 million if you include the 'money' already spent to save the Irish banks that, well, didn't save them.

Eventually it has to be paid back!

Here is how the people of Ireland, not the politicians, will be forced to pay back the huge debt their politicians ran up!

'Ireland unveiled the harshest budget measures in its history Wednesday, a four-year plan to slash deficits by €15 billion ($20 billion) so it can receive a massive bailout from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund.

The austerity plan axes thousands of state jobs, trims welfare benefits and pensions, and imposes new taxes on property and water. In all, it seeks to cut €10 billion ($13.3 billion) from spending and raise €5 billion ($6.7 billion) in extra taxes from 2011 to 2014.

Even Prime Minister Brian Cowen conceded the plan would hurt the living standard of everyone in the nation.'

This is where Australia is heading as the Gilliard Government borrows billions to "give" us roof insulation that, so far, has been the cause of 190 houses burning down and 4 installers dying. School assembly halls that add nothing to a childs education. Now we are getting a high speed broadband network while our farmers that produce our food are being denied water to grow that food.

If Every House In Australia Was Sold The Money Raised Would Not Be Enough To Repay Govt Debt!

Governments around the world, including Australias, continue to borrow millions of dollars a day for no good result for the citizens of the countries concerned.

In Australia we are seeing a crazy game played by the Gillard government to will give us all a high speed broadband network while our hospital waiting lists grow ever longer and people die waiting for urgent treatment.

Our farmers in the Murry Darling Basin, the food bowl of Australia, will get high speed broadband but no water to grow the crops to feed the average Aussie!

Did you know that last year, for the first time ever, Australia imported more food then it exported!

We became a net importer of food.

Australia has an area of just over 7 1/2 million square kilometers and in this huge area we cannot grow enough food to supply 22 1/2 million people!

Only 6.43% of this area is under agriculture of any form! Wouldn't it make more sense to guarantee Australia's food supply before we rush out and spend billions on a broadband network.

We may all starve to death but at least we will have high speed internet!

Why don't we care about the huge debt hole our politicians are digging us into?

British film maker Martin Durkin explains the full extent of the financial mess Britian is in: an estimated £4.8 trillion of national debt and counting. It's so big that even if every home in the UK was sold it wouldn't raise enough cash to pay it off.

Durkin argues that to put Britain back on track there is a need to radically rethink the role of the state, stop politicians spending money in our name and introduce, among other measures, flat taxes to make Britain's economy boom again.

This polemical film presented by Martin Durkin, brings economic theory to life and makes it hit home. It includes interviews with academics, economic experts, entrepreneurs, no less than four ex-Chancellors of the Exchequer and the biggest stack of £50 notes you'll never see.

UN IPCC Official Admits 'We Redistribute World's Wealth By Climate Policy'

'If you needed any more evidence that the entire theory of manmade global warming was a scheme to redistribute wealth you got it Sunday when a leading member of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change told a German news outlet, "We redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy".'

See the full article at the link below and get ready for the Gillard-Greens new tax that will increase your power bill by a further 24%. Better buy some wet stuff as this is gonna hurt!

Canberra Times Article By Senator Barnaby Joyce Telling It Like It Is!

"Certain things paint an indelible image in your mind. One happened to me lately when my mother in law told me that whilst doing meals on wheels in winter there was always a place you could find pensioners, in bed. This was not because of an infirmity but because they could not afford the price of the power to stay warm outside bed. How completely self indulgent and pathetic we have become that in our zealous desire to single-handedly cool the planet we have pandered to those who can afford the power bill over those less fortunate to avoid privation.

How pathetic we are that South Korea, using our coal, can provide power cheaper to their citizens after an 8,300 km sea voyage than we can with power stations in our own coal fields.

Oh yes, aren’t the solar panels doing a great a job. In Canberra last week it was revealed that they would add $225 to the average electricity bill, and that the Government's proposed carbon tax would raise them by a further 24%.

It is just that the poverty creep is making its way up the social strata, though I doubt it will reach the most affluent group The Greens. Bitterness on my part I suppose but I represent a party that represents the poorest electorates. Now what other lunacy are we considering, none other than shutting down the Murray Darling Basin so you can have a diet that suits the misery of the winter nights temperature in the unheated house..

Yes we have become so oblivious to the obvious because the loudest voices are not necessarily the neediest. We spend, sorry borrow, for school halls that do not make students more competitive in competency. No school hall taught a student a second language or a higher level maths. We borrowed for ceiling insulation and burnt down 190 houses and 4 installers died.

We borrowed for aimless $900 cheques as we decided that somehow imported electrical goods to Australia would reboot the US economy. We borrowed so much that we are now 170 billion dollars in gross debt. We are told not to worry about gross debt, its net debt that counts. Well try that out on your local bank manager. Try paying him back what you think you owe him, because of what you think others may owe you. Not surprisingly he will direct you to what is noted on your loan statement.
It is funny how the people who try to assuage our concerns with the net debt myth can never clearly identify what are the items that make up the difference between the figure on the Office of Financial Management website as Australian Government Securities outstanding and their miraculous net debt figure.

Since the election, the Labor-Green government has borrowed an average $1.6 billion each week.

Every fortnight that amounts to three new major public hospitals or the inland rail from Melbourne to Brisbane. Not bad going for a country that can not keep its pensioners warm.
Whilst we are waiting we are merrily selling at a record rate our agricultural land, mines and now the hub of commerce the ASX, so that when the day of reckoning for or children comes they can try and get out of trouble by working fastidiously for someone else and hoping they feed them. The average foreign purchase of agricultural land over the past two years is 2.7 billion a year or more than 10 times that of the average of the previous 10 years.

So when is all this going to change? When are we going to shake ourselves out of this dystopia that we are inflicting on others less connected but more affected by the self indulgent political delusion. What is our current solution to the very real problems becoming more and more apparent at the bottom end of the lucky country?

Well apparently it is gay marriage. Yep I am sure that will warm the cockles of their hearts, if not their living rooms, that our nation’s wisest are going to engage in hours, possibly days at the end of the political year on gay marriage. Then when we are finished with gay marriage we may have enough time to engage the remainder of our time on euthanasia.

You can not reduce power prices without increasing the supply of cheap power. No other nation has an earnest desire to feed you before they satisfy their own. It is a fluke of history that you are here in this nation but luck is easily lost with bad management and naive aspirations."

Al Gore’s Chicago Climate Exchange Has Died!

Hey Julia, Greg Combet, Bob Brown and the rest of you Watermelons who don't want to believe.

The scam is over!

Please read the following post.

'Global warming-inspired cap and trade has been one of the most stridently debated public policy controversies of the past 15 years. But it is dying a quiet death. In a little reported move, the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) announced on Oct. 21 that it will be ending carbon trading – the only purpose for which it was founded – this year.'

Carbon prices are down to 5 cents per ton! No wonder Gore pulled the pin.

However that matters little to the above mentioned "leading lights" of our government. If the environment meant anything to them then they would change their own ways first. That won't happen because it ain't about the environment.

It is all about taxing Australians into third world status.

"Carbon Taxes are Just Another Way to Raise Revenue" - Greek Prime Minister

George Papandreou, Greek prime minister of a country that allowed its government to borrow so much money that it cannt repay it, has said that there may need to be new world-wide forms of taxation to help pay for the bail-outs that will be needed by the growing number of crashing economies.

His suggestions include “carbon dioxide taxes” which, he says, could provide “important revenues and resouces for funding such a [bail-out] mechanism".

Now, I’ve never actually heard a major politician (let alone a national leader) admit this before: what Mr Papandreou is saying is that carbon taxes would have not have the effect of reducing emissions - because if they did, they would be useless as an additional form of revenue. All the hokum that is talked about protecting the planet by taxing carbon use is just a front for the real purpose of such penalties on industry and consumers which is to raise more money for governments to spend (in this case, on trying to remedy their own political follies).

The only way for Australia to repay its huge and growing debt is more taxes. That is why the Labor Party and the Greens are so in favour of global warming. A carbon tax would raise huge amounts of revenue from the people to, so the politicians say, pay back the International banks.

What will really happen is that governments, including Australia's, will just spend this money and borrow more from the international banking cartel.

Australias situation is really crazy!

Let's put it in a situation closer to home. A two adult, two children family have an income of, say $700 per week. They can live reasonably comfortably on that income but, hey, they JUST have to have the biggest flat screen, the latest SS Commodore, 3 Playstations for the kids (dad included) and are paying a mortgage on a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom McMansion. All this, plus food, rates, insurance, etc adds up to outgoings of $900 per week!

They are broke, big time broke, but they continue to borrow the $300 weekly shortfall on credit cards!

How long can this go on?

Soon the lending authority will foreclose on them. The house will go, as will everything else.

How does that relate to Australia? How can banks reposses a country?

Pretty easy actually. When the country can no longer repay the interest on the borrowings, let alone the principle a "bailout" is offered by the International Monetary Fund.  This bailout comes with some pretty stringent conditions. Stringent for ordinary Australian citizens in that we, the taxpayer, pick up the repayment by way of much higher taxation (carbon tax included) and, as happened in Greece, a large drop in wages and cuts in many social services including raising the retirement age to 70.

The Gods Of The Copybook Headings

Ask any ordinary person in a Third World country after the gangsters called The International Monetary Fund have moved in and crippled them with debt if they think the IMF is a good thing. I think you’ll find an overwhelming majority, discounting the corrupt despots running these countries, who have seen their natural resources raped by international corporations, who have looted and pillaged every country they’ve gone into at the IMF’s behest for their international banker criminal cartel, you’ll find a resounding rejection of any such notion.

The eyes of the IMF are on Australia as our politicians push us further and further into debt. We are only a goose step behind Greece, Portugal, and Ireland with our net national debt. It has to end somehow and the IMF would prefer us to end like Greece so they can swoop in with the help of international bankers and "rescue" us.

Here is a poem from Rudyard Kipling that pretty well explains it all! It was written in the 19th century so the despots have been at it awhile!

The Gods of the Copybook Headings

As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race, I make my proper
prostrations to the Gods of the Market-Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn.
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breath of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market-Place;
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in
Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch.
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch.
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings.
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would
cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Heading said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul; But, though we had
plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Heading said: "If you don't work you die."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards
withdrew,
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not God that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four-
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man- There are only
four things certain since Social Progress began:-
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,

And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wobbling back to the Fire;
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins

When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

Damn I love that poem!

Climate Funding May Need Taxes on Flight Tickets, - U.N. Reports

Taxes on international flights, shipping and financial transactions, as well as a global carbon price of $20 to $25 may be key to annually mobilising $100 billion in climate funding by 2020, according to the United Nations high level advisory group on climate change financing which submitted its report in New York on Friday.

At UN climate summit held in Copenhagen last year, developed countries, including Australia, committed to a goal of jointly mobilising $100 billion per year to meet the needs of developing countries with regard to climate change mitigation and adaptation. The 21-member advisory group set up to chart a course to meet this goal includes Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia, as well as British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, economist Nicholas Stern and financier George Soros.

Terming the target as “challenging but feasible,” the report says that financing could come from both public and private sources.

“If we are to reach this goal, we will need a mix of new public sources, a scaling-up of existing public sources and increased private flows. A carbon price in the range of $20-25 per tonne by 2020 will be important to meet the goal,” ( The price of carbon is presently 5 cents per tonne!).

The Climate Change Scare is Dying, But do our MPs Notice?

'Nothing more poignantly reflects the collapse of the great global warming scare than the decision of the Chicago Carbon Exchange, the largest in the world, to stop trading in "carbon" – buying and selling the right of businesses to continue emitting CO2.

A few years back, when the climate scare was still at its height, and it seemed the world might agree the Copenhagen Treaty and the US Congress might pass a "cap and trade" bill, it was claimed that the Chicago Exchange would be at the centre of a global market worth $10 trillion a year, and that "carbon" would be among the most valuable commodities on earth, worth more per ton than most metals.

Today, after the collapse of Copenhagen and the cap and trade bill, the carbon price, at five cents a ton, is as low as it can get without being worthless.

It is time we addressed one of the most glaring political "disconnects" in our sadly misgoverned country.'

12 Photos of Global Warming Scam Data Collection

David Evans points us to truly shocking collection of photographs he's assembled (PDF) depicting the fraudulent nature of the warming fraud perpetrated by many in the Western science establishment.

These photos highlight the locations of official climate thermometers, which -- if they're not missing altogether -- are intentionally placed near air conditioners or getting blasts from jet engines. You won't believe your eyes.

Global warming stopped in 1998 according to IPCC data.

Oh that data!

You mean the date the IPCC "excluded" from their computer moddeling because it gave a prediction they didn't want?

The data included was from monitoring stations like the one above. There was exclusion of data from rural monitoring stations. This was done on "geographically inconclusive" grounds, whatever that means.

We will have a look at another monitoring station that would have to give skewed data.

The World Bank Is Quietly Funding a Massive Corporate Water Grab

Is there more to the Murray - Darling Basin water fiasco then meets the eye?

Here is a report from Scott Thill at alternet.org

"Even though water privatization has been a massive failure around the world, the World Bank just quietly gave $139 million to its latest corporate buddy.

Billions have been spent allowing corporations to profit from public water sources even though water privatization has been an epic failure in Latin America, Southeast Asia, North America, Africa and everywhere else it's been tried. But don't tell that to controversial loan-sharks at the World Bank

Last month, its private-sector funding arm International Finance Corporation (IFC) quietly dropped a cool 100 million euros ($139 million US) on Veolia Voda, the Eastern European subsidiary of Veolia, the world's largest private water corporation. Its latest target? Privatization of Eastern Europe's water resources.

The Philippines is an excellent example of water privatization's broken model. After passing the Water Crisis Act in 1995, the Philippines landed a $283 million privatization plan managed partially by multinational giants like Suez and Bechtel. After some success, everything fell apart after 2000, and it wasn't long before tariff prices repeatedly increased, water service and quality worsened, and public opposition skyrocketed.

Today, some Filipinos still don't have water connections, tariffs have increased from 300 to 700 percent in some regions, and outbreaks of cholera and gastroenteritis have cost lives and sickened hundreds. "

The runaway cost increases sound a lot like the privatisation fiasco of electricity by the NSW Government in their headlong race to socialism!

"In the past, the World Bank pushed privatization as the way to increase investment in basic infrastructure for water systems," said
Judy Gelbspan, senior program coordinator for private-sector watchdog Corporate Accountability Internationa.  "But since then bank officials have admitted that the transnational corporations don't want to invest in infrastructure, and instead want only to pare down operations and skim profits. The World Bank has lowered the bar, satisfied with so-called 'operational efficiency,' that cuts utility workforce, tightens up bill collections and shuts off people who can't pay."

In US, New Republican House Promises Investigation Of Global Warming Fraud

'One of the first tasks of the new Republican-controlled House of Congress will be to launch a full investigation into the man-made global warming fraud, as the climate change con that threatens to tax and regulate the American middle class out of existence is exposed to what could prove terminal scrutiny.

“The GOP plans to hold high profile hearings examining the alleged “scientific fraud” behind global warming, a sleeper issue in this election that motivated the base quite a bit,” writes the Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder.'

Hey Julia! Are You Listening?

The sole purpose of a carbon tax is stated above "... to tax and regulate the middle class out of existance..." whether they be Americans, British, or Australians.

Probably the best expose of the climate fraud was done by Professor Ian Plimer in his book Heaven + Earth - Global Warming: The Missing Science.

According to Professor Plimer, he wrote Heaven and Earth after being "incensed by increasing public acceptance of the idea that humans have caused global warming" and set out to "knock out every single argument we hear about climate change."

Although he does not dispute that climate change is happening, he argues that "It's got nothing to do with the atmosphere, it's about what happens in the galaxy" and that climate is driven by the sun, the Earth's orbit and plate tectonics rather than the levels of atmospheric greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. Plimer says his book is for the "average punter in the street" who can "smell something is wrong in the climate debate but can't put a finger on what."

Buy it or borrow it from your local library and get informed as the mainstream media have no intention of telling you the truth about the global warming fraud!

Could This Be Why Obama Got His Arse Kicked?

In Australia, You May Soon Need a Warmist’s Permission to Eat!

Here is a disturbing article from Andrew Bolt of hearaldsun.com.

"SO you think I exaggerate when I say global warming is just the latest cause of the closet totalitarian?
Then pay close attention to an experiment the warmists are about to inflict on the people of Norfolk Island.
Be warned. What’s being trialled there with $390,000 of Gillard Government (our) money may, if it works, be spread to the mainland, say the researchers.

Which means it’s coming for you.

The plan - and, no, I’m not joking - is to put Norfolk Islanders on rations to fight both global warming and obesity.

Funded by the Australian Research Council, and approved by the Socialist Left Science Minister Kim Carr, researchers from the Southern Cross University will give each volunteer on the island a “carbon card”.
Every time they buy petrol, electricity or an air flight, they will have “carbon units” deducted from the fixed allowance on their card. More units will be lost each time they buy fatty foods, or produce flown in from a long way away. If, at the end of each year or so, they have carbon units left over, they can sell them. If they’ve blown their allocation, they must buy more.

But each year, the number of carbon units in this market will be cut, causing their price to soar - and thus the price of extra food, power and petrol to rise - because the idea is to cut greenhouse gases and make Norfolk Islanders trim, taut and terrifically moral.

Conservatives well aware of human fallibility will immediately spot the obvious flaw in this latest scheme of the Left to remake humanity.

It’s this: what happens when people run out of their carbon rations, and can’t afford the extra units they need to buy more fuel, power or even food?

This is precisely what I put this week to Garry Egger, head of this experiment and professor of Lifestyle Medicine and Applied Health Promotion at SCU. His response was astonishing and revealing, because this basic question - which so exposes the teeth of the totalitarian - would have been one you’d think he’d long wrestled with. After all, his personal carbon trading idea is not new, so much does it appeal to the fingerwaggers and bullies infesting the global warming faith.

As far back as 2006, Britain’s then environmental minister, David Miliband, proposed a similar scheme, since endorsed by the Environment Agency and House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee, which even insisted the Government defy howls of protest from mere voters.
“Widespread public acceptance, while desirable, should not be a pre-condition for a personal carbon trading scheme; the need to reduce emissions is simply too urgent,” the MPs said, before being driven off to dinner.
(Or as our own Professor Clive Hamilton, author and former Greens candidate, puts it, global warming is so “horrible” that leaders must look to “canvassing of emergency responses such as the suspension of democratic processes”.)

Nor is Egger’s idea new in Australia, The farcical “ideas summit” of prime minister Kevin Rudd’s 1000 “best and brightest” Australians also recommended it - which is a very good reason to be alert and alarmed.
“We have the technology now to create a ‘carbon account’ for individuals,” says the summit’s report, in between appeals for chairbound workers to be given 30 minutes a day of exercise and stairs to climb at work.

Yet although carbon rationing plans have been kicked around for years by the Left, that key question of the conservative has still not been answered. As in: what if people don’t want to live your dream? What if they rebel, or merely fail you?

Let’s go to the transcript of my interview with Egger on MTR 1377 this week, to see how he answered.

Me: What happens to those people who overdraw their carbon emissions ...
Egger: In the first year you are just warned ... (Later) if you overspend, you’ve got to buy the units that are cashed in ...
Me: If you put this in on the mainland and you were really strict about it - you really thought the world was warming very, very dangerously and someone exceeded their rations of these carbon units - one would presume that you would make food, for example, too expensive for them to buy.
Egger: That’s right ... so if you’ve got, for example, a very fatty unhealthy food that is imported from overseas which takes a lot of carbon to develop it, then the price would go up ...
Me: What happens to a very fat family, a very irresponsibly fat family, and they’ve blown their carbon budget to the scheissenhausen and you’ve made their food terribly expensive? What about the kids? They go to breakfast and they’ve got one baked bean?
Egger: In general you’ll find that in a very fat family they are low-income earners ... so those people would actually benefit from a scheme like this because the food that they buy, the energy that they use, they don’t use as much energy as the rich anyway ...
Me: But what happens? Their ration of carbon credits runs out and you’ve made food too expensive for them to buy. What happens to them?
Egger: Again, they get money back from doing the right thing.
Me: No, but they’ve done the wrong thing. That’s why they are fat and poor. They’ve done the wrong thing, they’ve run out of their carbon credits. What are you going to do to them then, when the food’s too expensive to buy?
Egger: There are going to be personal cases like this that need to be worked out and they need to be worked out in the tax system as well as in the carbon credits system.
Egger, founder of GutBusters, undoubtedly means to do good. He has no wish to see children starve.
YET I think we have here an insight into a key failing of so many grand schemes of the Left to improve resistant humans or build for them someone else’s idea of the perfect society. These schemes so often are too perfect for the flawed humans they supposedly serve. But it’s the humans who must then adapt to the system, and not the other way around. Which is where some force is required; some democracy sacrificed.

What a buzz for the closet totalitarian then, to bully other people “for their own good” - in this case, to “save the planet”. When the cause is so just, which planet-saver could let some contemptible fatty stand in their way, begging for the carbon credits to feed their chubby children?

On the other hand, which planet-saver would deny themselves any aid or comfort in this great struggle?
Need an illustration of what I’m talking about? Egger himself plans to jet off to Mexico next month to boast to a United Nations global warming conference how he persuaded Norfolk Islanders to ration just such joy flights for themselves.

This is your future coming right at you, folks. Best you realise it’s no longer a joke."

This little Socialist experiment should help Tim Flannery and the Wentworth Group achieve their aim of reducing Australia's population below 6 million. Jeeze, I wonder could you and yours be among the "reductions"? What a quaint word for victims of genocide!

Climate Change Hysteria Falters. Water Is The New Target!

'Self-proclaimed environmentalists and people who use the environment as a vehicle for political control, often the same people, have not quite destroyed environmentalism.

They are running out of exotic scares as coral bleaching, ocean acidification and a multitude of other claims prove unwarranted. A sign of desperation is the shift to much larger targets, but they pose the problem that people know a little more and basic questions raise immediate doubts.

Water is the latest target. More and more stories about running out of water appear. Most are linked to the false claim by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that droughts will increase in severity with global warming. It’s illogical because higher temperatures mean increased evaporation and more moisture in the air to create precipitation, but that doesn’t stop them.'

In Australia there is a running battle to strangle the life out of Australia's Food Bowl, the Murray Darling Basin by drastically cutting back water supplies to food growers. It appears the de-population organisation known as Wentworth Group are behind the Basin Plan.

Among the founding members of the Wentworth Group were Professor Tim Flannery, who advocates a radical reduction in Australia’s population down to as low as 6 million, and the late Professor Peter Cullen, whose “science” amounted to an obsession with dismantling water infrastructure.

Reduce Australia's Population to 6 Million - Plan to Shutdown Australia's Food Bowl

A Press Release From Citizens Electoral Council of Australia

Under questioning from Citizens Electoral Council chairman Ann Lawler at the St George information meeting last Thursday, Murray-Darling Basin Authority chairman Mike Taylor stridently insisted that the so-called Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists had no role in preparing the MDBA’s plan to slash irrigation and food production in the national food bowl.

The fact that Mr Taylor was so defensive about the Wentworth Group, and what he complained was repeated questioning about their role, itself proves the absurdity of his denial—every observer knows that the Wentworth Group’s bloody fingerprints are all over this damn plan.

However, in trying to cover up the Wentworth Group’s role in the Basin Plan, the MDBA chairman is seeking to disguise the fact that the true intent of this plan is to reduce Australia’s population.

First, the facts:

The Wentworth Group was formed in 2002, at a meeting in the Wentworth Hotel in Sydney organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). It was formed to target the Murray-Darling Basin, and block any future water development projects.

Among the founding members were Professor Tim Flannery, who advocates a radical reduction in Australia’s population down to as low as 6 million, and the late Professor Peter Cullen, whose “science” amounted to an obsession with dismantling water infrastructure.

The Wentworth Group is bankrolled by a corporate cabal connected into the highest levels of the British oligarchy, including arch-depopulator Prince Philip’s WWF, and the Inter-Alpha Group, the gang of European banks led by Lord Jacob Rothschild which specialises in looting nations through scams such as privatisation—a key goal of the Murray-Darling Basin “reform” process from the beginning.

The Wentworth Group is wholly funded by the Purves Environmental Fund, which was established in 2004 by WWF International Board member Robert Purves, and includes on its small board of directors Geoff Brunsdon, the chairman of Inter-Alpha Group member ING’s Australian subsidiary ING Private Equity Access Ltd.

Wentworth’s Peter Cullen was appointed by the Howard government to the National Water Commission, to establish the infrastructure and policies to coordinate the Basin’s shutdown. In 2007, Cullen, and fellow Wentworth Group scientists Peter Cosier and Mike Young, appeared before the Senate hearings for Environment Minister (and merchant banker) Malcolm Turnbull’s 2007 Water Bill, the bill which would form the MDBA; the 2007 Annual Review of the Purves Environmental Fund boasted, “Their recommendations were taken up when the bill was passed, in August 2007.”

Important note: contrary to the panicked back-pedalling by the National Party, its MPs all voted for the Turnbull bill, which became the Water Act 2007. In fact, the bill had such unanimous support, its final passage didn’t go to a division in either the House or Senate, and only one MP, the Independent Member for New England Tony Windsor, registered his opposition.

Reviewing these details, Ann Lawler said today, “It is small wonder Mike Taylor would like to hide the role of the Wentworth Group in devising the plan to shut down Australia’s food bowl. It is criminal that a front for private, corporate interests whose only allegiance is to the City of London and the depopulation drive of Prince Philip and his WWF has been allowed by all the major parties to set the agenda for the area that is the source of Australia’s food security.

“What is at stake here is the future of Australia as a whole; not just the Murray-Darling Basin. All Australians must get behind the CEC’s fight to stop this assault on our nation-state.”
